Drum Roll Please.....
tat tat at tat tat (my only way of rolling any drums)
Introducing the one, the only, the incredibly cute and cuddly.....
Rudy Tootie (fresh and fruitie) & his kid
"When the don't hold still mom you make em gently like this."
He cries when she goes to bed and won't wake up to play. Today we went to the pharmacy. I forgot my keys in the house and sent Nina back in. Well as soon as he saw her with the keys i howled at her in protest as if to say no don't go! Hubby said he cried at the window until he "ruffed him up a bit" which he throughly enjoyed btw. He wins too.
very smart boy only 2 accidents. Neither were his fault.
So now I have a question... Why on earth is he eating shit.. not his as far as we can tell. All of the others. Nina is picking up poo tomorrow. But it worries me. He vomited a very tiny bit ealry today (perfectly fine in every other way btw - think nina is being to genrous w/ the treats.) Any advice here would be great. I got him puppy chow because it is what he is used to but plan to taper him off on it. In order to buy something more natural. No diareah, it was after eating grass. Hubby says I am worrying cuz of buddy. Rudy is absolutely 200 times more energetic then buddy ever was. His old owner (rudy's) even had fecal exams done too. Once again I got very lucky.
Ok now to kill some insomnia. CLEANING the kitchen!

So cute and adorable...and so is the puppy too! I never had a dog eat poo, but do some research..it might be a puppy thing!
Copraphagia... poo eating. It's a dog thing. Some do, some don't. Good luck stopping it. (There are things you can put in the food to make it taste bad... but I'm thinking... it's shit... how much worse can it get?) Cleaning up is probably the best solution to the problem. My sis's dog & my mom's dog eat poo, but not mine, fortunately. They especially love it when it's frozen. Turdcicles! Poopcicles... yuuuuuum.
@warweasel - he won't eat his own well not that i have caught him anyway
Also read it is normal for puppies for vomit occasionally. He does about once a day. I have put up a new blog showing how energetic he is in video... taken from cell so quality may suck. When he poos it is normal solid no diareah. I think I am worried so much due to buddy. I am keeping this lil guy very close to home until ALL shots are done.We also pick up all poo (his or not) every day and trash. We have a community yard and our neighbors with dogs don't pick up after thiers or themselves. Which is ewwwwy to me. I also pay my daughter to pick up trash and poop every day $5 a week. I don't usually pay her for chores but since its not just our pup she is cleaning up from i figured what the heck. We have gloves so she never touches anything. We let Rudy sniff it out and grab it before he gets to chow down. He goes nuts for it.
Anyway now that I have blogged you a reply lol i should post the real blog..
Like i said when he vomits (has happened 2 times now not all in one day either) is very small amounts and looks like when someones spits on the ground (white foamy) but seems perfect.. eats/ drinks. Should i withhold food? I am nervous nelly I don't wanna loose another baby.
yeah definitely no worries about eating poo! my dogs love cat poo LOL and anything that poops besides them....
didnt buddy have parvo? parvo lives on the ground where rudy may be able to get it....so just keep a close eye on him! Im sure you already know all of that though!
@soontoshrink - no the vet told his assistant that buddy did not have parvo. But i have cleaned and that is why i try to keep him away from other dogs and only walk him on the sidewalk. Rudy is much healthier then buddy was. Buddy came to us sick with horrible worms. Rudy has been cleared by a vet before the first owner would give them away. But yes I am keeping an extremely CLOSE eye on him.
Did tell you I am going back to school. I am going for my LPN then work my way up to the BSN online. I want to be an OB nurse one day.
One of my dogs eat poop also. He may grow out of that when he gets a little older. I sometimes run around and put hot sauce on it, they wil not touch it then! ha
@Red_Raider_Mom - OMG thats an awesome idea will have to try it.. does it make them sick at all? I'm gonna go to the store.
Any ideas to keep other dogs away? I have a community yard but I don't want them bothering him so just around his border (he has a 15 ft tie out)
